While there are some resales available for immediate occupancy, purchasing a new unit allows you to pick your finishes and have your own personal upgrades from the time you move in. To secure your residence, they ask for a $50,000 refundable deposit to accompany an executed contract. After a 15 day rescission period, another deposit is made to bring the total to 10% of the purchase price. An additional deposit of 10% is due 60 days after the date of signing. Depending on where the developers are in the construction process, there may be an additional deposit of 10% before the balance is due at closing. The total anticipated condominium, master HOA and club dues will be in the neighborhood of $26,000 annually. These fees will cover nearly everything except for electricity and personal insurance.
