The community of Pelican Bay is one of the most highly desirable neighborhoods to live in due to the proximity of the Gulf beaches, high-end shopping, restaurants and cultural entertainment. Pelican Bay is located just west of US 41, Tamiami Trail, between Vanderbilt Beach Road and Pine Ridge Road. In addition to each homeowner being a member of the Pelican Bay Club, each subdivision within Pelican Bay offers their own amenities.
When purchasing a property within Pelican Bay, there is a one-time payment of $7,500 which covers your initiation fee to the Pelican Bay Club. There, you will find private access to two members only beach club restaurants, transportation to and from the beach to your condo or beach club parking lot. Membership also includes tennis, gym facilities, and much more. For an additional fee, residents can join Pelican Bay’s Golf Club, though it is not mandatory. Each individual condo provides their own private amenities such as pool, card rooms, party rooms, guest suites, etc.
One of the most spectacular neighborhoods is the gated community, the Strand at Bay Colony, which includes just a dozen beachfront homes. With the sandy white beaches and beautiful Gulf of Mexico as your backyard, these homes are one of a kind works of art. Bay Colony also offers high-rise living with fabulous views of the Gulf in a more maintenance free lifestyle.
High-rise condos along Pelican Bay Blvd offer both Gulf views and city views. Some buildings have been completely updated and their facilities are exquisite; others are in the process. Depending on which line the individual condo is in, will dictate the price.
Pelican Bay also offers low-rise and midrise properties. These are especially attractive for those who are looking for lower density living. Many of these properties are great investments as they are highly sought after as vacation rentals.
There are also several Pelican Bay single-family home neighborhoods that offer a quiet atmosphere with very low HOA fees. All the Pelican Bay Club amenities are included in both the gated and non-gated subdivisions.
