Ft. Myers, Fla. – July 23, 2009 – SoftServe, Inc. was recognized by Microsoft Corp. as Partner of the Year 2009 in Central and Eastern Europe in the category Information Worker Solutions, Enterprise Content Management and Forms Development.

Winners and finalists were announced at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference 2009, the company's premier annual event for industry partners, held from July 13-16 in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. At this year's conference, Microsoft Corp. outlined a bold road map of products and services that the company will deliver to partners and customers in the coming year and introduced its new Microsoft Partner Network, the next evolution of the Microsoft Partner Program.

The annual Microsoft Partner of the Year awards honor Microsoft partners for delivering exemplary IT solutions for their customers. This year, SoftServe's project was recognized as one of two Ukrainian winners in the region of Central and Eastern Europe.

"Microsoft's recognition of a sophisticated application such as ASG-TCI™ for MOSS, developed by SoftServe in tandem with ASG Software Solutions, is a tacit acknowledgement of our company's commitment to delivering innovative and robust Microsoft-based solutions of outstanding value. We are pleased to receive this award and intend to strengthen our relationship with Microsoft in order to advance our technical expertise and bring additional benefits to our clients worldwide," said Taras Kytsmey, President, SoftServe, Inc.

The Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference is Microsoft's premier event for more than 640,000 business partners who sell, customize, build upon, implement and support Microsoft solutions, servicing approximately 160 million clients worldwide and generating more than 95 percent of Microsoft's revenue.

In her keynote address, Allison Watson, corporate vice president of the Worldwide Partner Group at Microsoft, kicked off the event with the launch of the Microsoft Partner Network. "Microsoft is entering the biggest year of product launches in its history, and partners will play a pivotal role in bringing to market what customers want - choice, flexibility and cost savings," Watson said. "We are proud to introduce the Microsoft Partner Network, the next evolution of the Microsoft Partner Program, based on our continued commitment to serve the needs of our partners and help them compete confidently to reach their full potential. Microsoft's success and the success of partners are one and the same. Working closely together, and learning from one another, I am confident that we will deliver on and exceed the expectations of our mutual customers."

The new Microsoft Partner Network, based on the traditional Microsoft Partner Program, aims to help partners strengthen their capabilities, serve customers better and drive real-time connection and support through communities, fostering closer relations with their clients, Microsoft Corp., other partners and IT industry players.
