The EDC provides a forum for local entrepreneurs, small business persons and other interested parties. This medium is used to gather first-hand knowledge of the local business climate and develop ways in which this knowledge can be transferred into specific initiatives. These initiatives will help grow new enterprises and support small business expansion.
The network includes financial resources (both traditional and non-traditional), business advisors and mentors, and university partnerships for research and development pursuits.
