The Economic Development Council of Collier County is dedicated to the creation of high-wage, value-added jobs in Collier County. To that end, the EDC plays an active role in facilitating relocation and expansion of specific industries, through permitting assistance, financial funding assistance, Import/Export counseling and site selection assistance.
The Economic Stimulus Programs established by the Board of County Commissioners in 2002, enable Collier County to provide a competitive incentive program. Coupled with the Florida State incentive programs, Collier County’s programs are accessed for the recruitment of new target industry and the expansion of local businesses. The criteria for participation in any of the stimulus programs, state or local, vary according to where within Collier County a company chooses to site their business.
