Collier County's largest employment concentrations continue to be in industries that are fueled by population growth. The retail trade, construction, and hotel industries have the most employees in Collier County. Those three industries combined employ more than 62,000 people in Collier County. The fourth largest industry in Collier County is the healthcare industry, which employs more than 13,000 people. As the Collier County population matures, employment in the healthcare industry will continue to a larger part of overall employment.
