The Economic Development Council of Collier
County (EDC) recognizes that leadership from the private sector is vital
to the long-term success of strategic expansion & recruitment of high wage
jobs to Collier County. The EDC Board of Directors, comprised of local
business leaders, oversees the function of the Council and assists in the
strategic planning of EDC goals and objectives. The Vice-Presidents chair
specially focused EDC Committees, including Public Policy, Membership,
Workforce & Education, and Existing Industry. The EDC holds an annual Installation
of Officers event to appoint new directors to the Board as well as honor
Board members concluding their term of service.
